An ever-changing video chronicling of what daily life is like if you happen to be a sassy actress with lots of pluck looking for work in Hollywood (or New York) who is half Lebanese and half Irish, was raised in the American South, is married to one of the world's funniest comedians, possesses a slew of ridiculously bright, talented friends, is kind of voyeuristic about humanity, and has a quirky sense of self and humor...there are no second takes.
Do not let Newbridge authentics dominate this blog.
ReplyDeleteFor the record, we did a second take of my call-in segment. I thought it went better than the first take, but the producers made their choices. I have no control over any of this!
ReplyDeleteTom.
I heard about your vlog on the Best Show (on WFMU). You seem like a nice person. Don't let the Hollywood people change that. (That might be my "fly-over-country" anti-hollywood bias talking there.) Lebanese? There are some great Lebanese folks in my town who own a chain of restaurants called Pita Delite. They have the best hummus pita! Do you think you'll get blase about the earthquakes? Did you move there from somewhere else? I grew up in Tornado Alley and i'm blase about storms. Good vlog!
ReplyDeleteThe best one ever!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I lived in L.A. when the Northridge quake hit in '94. (I was in Studio City.) I could never get why people weren't more freaked out than they were. I mean, who wants to boil their water or sleep in the doorway, right?
